I never thought moving to the Dominican Republic would bring some of the opportunities it has to me. For one, living in a different country stretches you beyond what you thought you could stretch sometimes. But, my passion for sewing has had a chance to emerge and grow into something more than a hobby. After many, many thoughts, plans, drawings, samples, ripped seams, etc. I have decided to launch a line of small personal accessories. I am calling it "Little Things by Karin", but when we move back to the states I will most likely call it "Cositas by Karin" (which means little things in Spanish), which is what I am titling this blog.
Here are a few pictures of some of the gifts I made for Eric's family for Christmas:
This is something I am really excited about. It's an Ipod case. This is the second one I've made. It's for Eric's preschool teacher. The first one wasn't perfect, but I gave it to Stacey when she visited from Boston.

This is a pencil roll for kids. I customized this one for prima Emily. |
These eyeglass cases include a handmade felt flower. I made them for our moms.
Stick with me and let's see where we go!
